Young 2’s Program

This program is typically a child’s introduction into a classroom environment. Therefore, our teachers focus on introduction into sharing, sitting at a table for snack and lunch, learning to line up at the door to go outside, using their manners, introducing potty training and learning to emotionally regulate during separation from parents during drop off. This is a huge developmental period as these 2-year-olds learn to use eating utensils, try new foods without being fed and follow directions.  Music and movement is additionally used as a developmental tool.  Be prepared for your 2-year-old to paint, finger paint, get messy, wash hands, play with play doh and much, much more.

2 ½ to Young 3-Year-Olds Program

Six months makes a big difference in the lives of these little ones. While the curriculum for young 2-year-olds continues to apply to this age group as well, our teachers utilize additional age-appropriate activities to aid in advancing their development. 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds have very limited verbal skills, so our teachers utilize methods surrounding the use of auditory, visual, and kinesthetic approaches. In this same way, they learn predominantly through repetition, which is why each classroom has a specific structure used daily/weekly.

3 & Young 4-Year-Olds Program

In order to prepare our three and young four-year-olds for Pre-K, these classrooms develop the foundation necessary for an increasingly structured academic classroom environment. While these classrooms learn the foundations to Pre-K, the emphasis remains on the development of their fine motor skills such as holding a pencil and using scissors.  Daily from 9:00am-12:00pm these classrooms will highlight advanced academic groundwork.

*Preschoolers (3 and up) MUST be independently potty trained.
